That's the cover for the issue of Wired whence comes the article I've been reading for class. See that little jangly thing next to "Neal"? It's Morse! A tiny pipette dipped in ink responds to electrical pulses and goes up for a dit, down for a dah. A little hard to read at the end but understandable. Kelvin invented it.
